This PJT tarp measures 3x10 ft and is made from 16 mil thick clear vinyl, giving it a heavier hand than thin sheeting while still letting light through. The transparent material suits coop covers and run winterizing where daylight matters, and the reinforced grommets along the edges provide fixed tie-down points for a taut, stable hang.
Because the vinyl is waterproof and built to resist tearing, the tarp works as a wind and moisture barrier over chicken runs, patios, and porch openings. The 3x10 ft panel is long and narrow, so it fits along coop walls or run sides rather than spanning a wide roof. Clear construction keeps the area underneath brighter during short winter days.
Installation relies on the grommets, so rope, bungee, or ties can secure the tarp to framing without puncturing the vinyl. The 16 mil thickness adds durability for repeated seasonal use, and the clear finish keeps the covered space visible from outside. Store it rolled when not in use to limit creasing between winters.
